The art of wand-making has been practiced by various cultures throughout history; symbolizing power, protection, transformation, wisdom and connection to the divine. They are believed to carry the essence of birds, which soar freely in the sky and have a unique perspective.
The goal is to provide a space for self-reflection and personal growth. As you carefully select feathers, crystals, and other materials for your wand, you will be encouraged to consider their significance and how they align with your intentions. Feathers have been used by indigenous cultures worldwide as a means of communication with spirits and as a conduit for healing energy.
When creating a ceremonial feather tool/wand, one must approach the process with reverence and respect. There will be offerings of goose, wild turkey, rooster, pheasant, and some tropical bird feathers to choose from. Participants are encouraged to bring found feathers that hold meaning, and any adornments you may wish to add.
Herbal tea, and a vegetarian/vegan lunch will be provided. You are also welcome to bring something to share. We have space for up to 10 guests. Additional details & location will be shared upon registration.
